August 2008: Wouldn't it be Nice?

Coming up with a name for Studio Azul kits takes some looking and some staring, and more looking. If the theme was obvious like our April Going Postal Kit, well that would be easy. But sometimes it's just the feel of the kit, the colors, the elements that gives us the much needed title. August was just that, it reminded me of an oldie, old but yet oh so very cool song by the Beach Boys.

So the month of August brings some inspiration
in the form of a song . . .

You just have to love how CV keeps the layout simple and fuss free yet chock full of photos and memories. It's ingenious how she incorporated smaller chipboards to mount photos within the album itself. I'm almost afraid to ask how fast she did this one, after all this lady makes a LO in 3 minutes and a LO before going to work! *sigh* we should all be lucky :-) In the meantime, I guarantee this is totally DOABLE, the speed, well is something we all just have to work with LOL

Au does it again, keeping her mini-album very much, well, AU-ish (uy, new word yata yun hehe). Clean lines and the citrus colors keep this mini-album fresh and sweet much like Au's beautiful daughters. You just have to love how she finishes it off with a homemade tag. Yes, it's definitely AU-ish :-) PS: Au, I just realized how Kara looks so much like you!
